Discover The Lost Planet with Ulysses 31

I recently watched all 26 episodes of Ulysses 31.
It's an awesome anime show from the early 80's.
I thought I'd share my favorite episode,
since it's fitting for Mother's Day.

It features that witch, who loves kids. (No, not eating them.)
Her unicorn reminded me of my 2014 Mother's Day post here.

The Lost Planet is episode 5, but you can start with it,
because the show's plot is described in the opening.

Warning: Theme song will get stuck in your head.

Enjoy!

Werewolf Mother's Day

My Mom's a Werewolf (1989)

I watched that movie here and loved it!

It inspired me to make my mom a werewolf in my Holly's Horrorland story.
My grandma and little sister will be werewolves too. I lost all of them. :'(
In my story they'll be shot with silver bullets by a monster hunter.

My mom and grandma. I'm the bun in the oven.

I'll be moving to the house they're pictured in on June 15.
My grandpa who I lost in July left it to my brother and I.
He'll be a vampire staked by the same hunter in my story.

His birthday would be Tuesday and my brother's is tomorrow.

Note the Ghostbusters tee!

He's also a werewolf, as you can see:
I'm Little Red Riding Hood.
That was my favorite Halloween costume. My aunt made it.

Actually my mom, sister, brother and I will be werepires.
Since my mom is the daughter of a werewolf and a vampire.
Just like Lily Munster. I assume her mom was a werewolf.
Since her son and brother are werewolves.

Hope all you momsters have a fangtastic Mother's Day!

The Forgotten Prisoner

Thanks to Mike Arnett for sending me this on Facebook:

When I was a kid my older brother always built plastic models of monsters.
I remember when he built one called "The Forgotten Prisoner".
This was in the 60's. In 2015 I bought a new version of the model and built it.
Check it out!

I love it! Reminds me of The Pirate's Cove in Ocean City, MD.

The Forgotten Prisoner isn't a pirate though.
Find out who he is in this comic story here.

There's also a model of his Ghost and a dungeon door,
which combines the two models into one big diorama!

I haven't made a model yet. Have you?
If so, send a picture to me and I'll post it for all to see!

Happy Halfoween!

We're halfway to Halloween!
And today would be my little sister's 28th birthday.
So I celebrated last night by watching these movies:

The Halloween That Almost Wasn't (1979)

The Midnight Hour (1985)

I also treated myself to pumpkin ice cream and these goodies:

They're 15% off!

Quirk eBooks from Humble Bundle.
I got all those and more for just $15!

Speaking of books, this Saturday is Free Comic Book Day!
