Gorilla v Superman and Star Trek v Planet of the Apes

Have a Super Easter by watching this episode of Adventures of Superman:

Superman - 2x14 - Jungle Devil by superannuatedlps
The gorilla comes in at 20:25

It made MeTV's list of 10 great gorillas (actors in ape suits) from classic TV.

I'll be posting more classic TV gorillas during Ape-ril.

Speaking of which,
today is Leonard Nimoy's birthday and William Shatner's was the 22nd,
so I must post this:

Star Trek/Planet of the Apes: The Primate Directive

You can get the TPB which collects all 5 issues here!

Green Guys for Saint Patrick's Day

VoteFrankenstein.com

Frankenstein's Monster is my favorite green guy.
The Incredible Hulk is a close second though.

The Green Team: Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno

Sadly neither actor has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
They both deserve one, especially Bill Bixby.
So I was glad to see a Star Fund has been started for him!

Did you know he made his debut in another MeTV show?
Episode 5 of season 3 of The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis.
It's titled The Gigolo and you can watch it free here!
Episode 6 of season 2 The Face That Stopped The Clock as well,
which features these "beautiful jazzbos" as Maynard calls them:

They're suppose to be Confucius clock statues,
but look more like Slimer from Ghostbusters to me.
Perhaps they were the inspiration for him?

You can pre-order a Slimer Timer here!

Villainess of Horror

"I became the Evil Queen in my mind"
- Maila Nurmi (Vampira)

That quote is from an interview on an episode of Reel Wild Cinema.
Which you can watch here. It starts at 28:16.

It reminded me of this poem I wrote almost six years ago:

Femme Fatale Fairytale

Let's rewrite this sad little story,
I'll be the villain instead of the victim,
Replace ills with thrills,
Become a girl who kills,
Now that's a book that'll pay the bills.

Like Amanda Palmer, I'm NOT The Killing Type,
but sometimes I Want To Be Evil like Eartha Kitt:

If you want to unleash your inner Evil Queen too,
Villainess of Horror is the Facebook page for you!

It's a place for aspiring horror models to post their photos.
Or just women who like horror movies and taking selfies.
They don't have to be professional. The page is just for fun.
It was created by my friend Clifton Cliffhanger Croumbles,
who is a horror artist, photographer and filmmaker.
Check out my favorite short film of his in the Viewing Room.
