My favorite episode is a three-parter titled Trilogy.
About a girl named Abigail Fuller accused of murder.
Four murders actually, from 1955 to 1978 in Louisiana.
I was so enamored with the character as a kid,
I even used her name when playing pretend.
Perhaps because she reminded me of The Bad Seed in Part 1.
I also love Meg Foster as her mad mama, Laura Fuller.
Sam (Scott Bakula) plays her father in Part 1,
her fiancee in Part 2 and her lawyer in Part 3.
There's a big surprise in the last part too,
but I won't spoil it for you.
The episode Shock Theater is a close second though,
mainly because of this scene:
Al (Dean Stockwell), oh Boy, I had/have such a Crush on him.
One of the reasons why is he's so much like a vampire.
As I learned in another favorite episode, Blood Moon.
Al: He's a first-class flesh eater. He's got all the classic signs.
He's got the pale complexion, the beady eyes, the lustful stare.
Sam: Al? You just described yourself.
Al: "Vampires are not merely blood seekers. They are sexually obsessed.
And many of them possess insatiable carnal urges beyond the grave."
Now, what does that tell ya?
Sam: It tells me that vampires and holograms have a lot in common.
